Terms of Service

Last updated: July 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the use of the Saldofy personal finance management app (hereinafter "the App") and the saldofy.click website. By installing or using the App, you accept these Terms: if you do not agree with them, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

The App is developed and distributed by Stefano Onotri (individual developer).
Contact: privacy@saldofy.click

2. Service description

Saldofy allows you to record income and expenses, organize wallets, set budgets, share wallets with others, and consult statistics and accessory tools (currency converter, financial calculator).

⚠️ Saldofy is a personal organization tool: it does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice. The information shown (including exchange rates, provided by third-party sources) is for purely indicative purposes.

3. Account

4. Free and Premium plans

The App offers a free plan with basic features and paid Premium plans (monthly, yearly, or one-time) that unlock additional features. Prices and conditions are indicated in the App and on the Pricing page.

Purchases made through Google Play are also governed by Google Play's terms, including renewal, cancellation, and refund policies. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the already paid period.

5. Your data and encryption

The data you enter in the App remains yours. Personal data processing is described in the Privacy Policy, which constitutes the official source on the subject.

🔐 Some information, including transaction notes and categories, is protected with encryption to keep sensitive content secure. We recommend performing periodic backups from the App.

6. Permitted use

You agree not to:

7. Shared wallets

If you share a wallet, invited people will be able to see and — depending on the assigned role — modify the data of that wallet. You are responsible for choosing the people you share with. Those who receive an invitation are required to use shared data respecting the privacy of others.

8. Intellectual property

The App, the Saldofy name, logo, graphics, and code are owned by the developer or their respective licensors. Use of the App grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license, limited to the use intended by these Terms. The data you enter remains your property.

9. Service availability

We strive to keep the service available and secure, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or force majeure. The App also works offline: data is synced when a connection is available.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is." We are not responsible for indirect damages resulting from the use or inability to use the App, nor for economic decisions made based on the data or statistics shown.

Nothing in these Terms limits your legal rights as a consumer, including the guarantees provided by the Italian Consumer Code and European legislation.

11. Account closure

You can stop using the App at any time and request deletion of your account and data from the Account Deletion page or by writing to privacy@saldofy.click. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly violate these Terms, giving notice where possible.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms over time. Substantial changes will be communicated via the App or by email with reasonable notice. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. For disputes with consumer users, the court of the place of residence or domicile of the consumer has jurisdiction. For alternative dispute resolution, you can also contact the European ODR platform.
